Week 4

After reviewing last week’s model, I realized that the current design does not securely connect the base to the upper structure, which would cause the components to become unstable or detach. To address this issue, I added multiple circular layers to the base to improve structural support and stability. These layered features help prevent the top portion from slipping or falling off.

In addition, I began refining the design concept of the hand-based structure. Since a human hand consists of five fingers, I decided to incorporate five openings into the model. These openings are intended to align with the spacing of the fingers, allowing the design to more accurately resemble a hand while also improving its functionality as a phone stand.
